Hi * Everybody *

Choice
This newsletter was inspired by an Inspirational Quote about Choice, the choice we have in everything we do,
from the moment we wake up in the morning to the time our eyes lay to rest.

Choice

Wonder and despair are two sides of a spinning coin.
When you open yourself to one, you open yourself to the other. You discover a capacity for joy that wasn't in you before.
Wonder is the promise of restoration:
as deeply as you dive, so may you rise
.

spiritual bird flight

- Have you ever wondered whether we choose what we dream?

- Does our subconcious actively guides us to certain dreams?

Haven written down that choice finishes when we sleep, the next spontaneous thought that ocurred to me was questioning the validity of the statement.

I am intriqued and invite all your comments here dreamchoice@religions-and-spiritualities-guide.com

The Choice of Color

Color is such a subjective thing. To one eye orange is pleasing ,to the next it is ghastly.
- Harmony in color, why is our eye drawn to colours that soothe our soul?
- Where in our brain is the center for determining the fate of orange?

The Choice of a Kitchen Witch

I wake up in the morning
full of joy
or sleep in til noon
with dreams to enjoy

I look at the hearth
wicked grin on my face
shall I brew peppermint
or add a dose of vervain

I choose a sprinkle of myhrr
and with the flick of my broom
I clear the air
where energies loom

I greet the evening sun
feel the earth with my hands
light a candle in the wind
and gather herbs from the lands

I offer vanilla scents
to welcome the new moon
wishing my love
will be home soon

Choosing
how to celebrate the Season

It is upon us , the time of the year when we settle ourselves in hibernation mode
(unless you live in Australia), are thankful for the harvest that mother earth has
offered us this year and are starting to prepare for the festivities ahead.

This time of the year can be quite disheartening, when the commercialisation
of the season seems to be taken over everything completely, with the exclusion
of the deeper meaning , the sacredness of spiritual renewal and the
celebration of family rituals.

"Re-Envisioning the Holy-Days:
A Workshop Around Bringing
Soul and Meaning to the Holidays"

is a workshop that is hoping to address this imbalance.

Michelle is a the author of the book
"Through the Door: A Journal of Self-Discovery, Connection, and Creative Expression"

and this is her new offering, an online workshop full of ways to bring deep, personal meaning back
into the often commercial and lifeless months ahead. This workshop is
non-denominational and is designed to support your own belief system. You
may start at any point and the teachings are designed to be followed at your
own pace. This particular workshop will focus on fall and winter. In
February the spring/summer version will be offered. The workshop will
include a workbook, six weekly emailed "lessons" and membership in a yahoo
group set up specifically for this workshop. Topics include: creating a
sacred space, the importance of rhythm & ritual, clarifying what we value,
making a personal plan, ideas for meaningful celebrations, and much more!
