Welcome to this March issue of the Spiritual Woman Ezine Spring is upon us, new growth is evident everywhere I look. Yet something struck me today : As one side of our earth prepares for spring renewal the other earth side of it settles down to wintery hibernation . ~ Is this duality evident in all our life's always? ~ Are there always 2 sides to the coin, two possible pathways chosen , the options always present for eyes that wish to see? I have been drawn in the past few months to exclusively work with the angelic presence in my life. It has been and is a fascinating ride. Artful March Challenge Duality~ the two sides of me ~ think about yourself and your two most opposite polarities ~ think of the side that wants to fly, to soar to catch every living moment in full swing ~then imagine that side of you that holds you back, keeps you on the ground, entangled in the roots of everyday life ~ Now take a magazine with people (women) in it and find one that represents the imaginative, soaring part of yourself ( if you have a suitable photo of yourself you can also make a photocopy of it and play with that) ~ Cut it out and lay it ready to assemble ~ Add a pair of brilliant, embowering wings to your Positive, High Flying Self ( click here to download several angel wing templates) ~ mount it onto a card backing stock, or into a picture frame to add to your sacred space, altar, private little reminder corner ~ take a little piece of writing paper, parchment or use cut out letters from a magazine to collage or write an affirmation Affirmation: I am who I am I am embracing the growth of my wings feeling the wounds of rebirth soothing the scars of renewal yet already feeling the wind underneath my newly glistening wings taking me higher and higher I am ready to soar
