Rescues Remedy - what I found out

This stuff is magic!

I have several bottles of rescues remedy in my house, and always one in my handbag.

Just a few drops are necessary and it will instantly relieve symptoms of panic, stess, trauma, terror and hopelesness in stressful situations. Excellent during childbirth, for exams, in emergency accidents, during panic attacks etc.

How I was introduced to Rescue Remedy

A friend came to visit our house one day.
Something happened that made me feel kind of emotionallly queasy, but I can remember what, but I was feeling very out of sorts
Emotional, tearful and somehow not quote able to cope.

My friend openend her handbag , got out a box which contained about 12 little bottles.
She picked one handed it to me and said "Take a few drops on the tongue" Now noramlly I am quite cautious but at this point I did not care, if only there was a chance that the cloud over my head could be lifted

Wow, and this stuff worked instantly,it brightened my mood literally within seconds. It was Rescue Remedy and from then on this stuff has never left my side.

When I needed Rescues Remedy Most

My daughter had a nasty accident and was hospitalised and I was barely able to keep my emotions together, my husband kept feeding me rescue remedy every 15 minutes and if I can describe the feeling its like:
You want to cry , tears are starting to roll, you are all shook up and then you take a few drops and you simply cannot cry anymore, not possible.
In situation of shock, of emotion when you got to keep it together its simply magic.

Then my mother suffers from bouts of depression, panic attacks that make her life miserable. I have given her a small bottle of rescue remedy and life for her has become so much brighter, to be in control of it is a wonderful feeling

My friend always carries a box of bottles for situations just like that.
She shares them freely, passes along old knowledge from generation to generation.

I was in hospital the other day for a routine check and overheard a conversation in the next bed where the woman complained about feeling very shaky, nervous and emotional and I longed for a box of my own bottles, to pass knowledge to share what I believe in.

And I did get my own box, in the hope of passing on this gift that I had received in my time of need, so that the cycle may continue.

Ingredients of Bach Rescues Remedy

Cherry Plum:
is for when you fear you are going to lose control of yourself and do something dreadful, which can include hurting or injuring others and suicide. Cherry Plum helps when the loss of control has already taken place and calms the frantic fear and dread that comes with it. (likend to a small child in a screaming, irrational rage.) Fears of going mad and of acting irrationally are Cherry Plum fears.

In Rescue Remedy it steadies thought and helps with rational thought evaluating a situation.

Clematis:
is for when your mind drifts away from the present into fantasies of the future, or into alternative versions of the present. Dreaming of future success, creative endeavour and achievement, but a state of not being sufficiently anchored in reality to make them happen. Helps bring you back to earth and back to yourself to focus on real life.

In Rescue remedy it helps to clear the fuzzy, light-headed feeling that can come at times of emergency.

Impatients
is the remedy against impatience, frustration and irritability caused by impatience. you can get into this state sometimes or be an Impatiens types, who lives life in a rush and hate being held back.Helps being relaxed and patient and a little less hasty.

In Rescue Remedy it is used to help calm agitated thoughts and feelings.

Rock Rose
is for when you feel in the panicky, terrorstruck fear that makes conscious thought and decision next to impossible. it help to get you calm and give you courage to find strength you did not think you had.

In Rescues Remedy it is used to help with the terror fear caused by trauma or panic attacks.

Star of Bethlehem
is for relieving after-effects of any shock, such as unexpected bad news or an unwelcome event. Even useful for effects of a shock received many years ago, when working through this trauma even from very early in childhood. Relieves thesense of emptiness and loss that sometimes occurs when a loved one dies or moves away,or out of your live.

In Rescue Remedy it is the comforting element, especially when you refuse to be consoled.
