Women's Spirituality - What I found out

are spiritually awakened but not necessarily religious.

believe in an energy of wisdom, love, truth, peace and joy that is surrounding us in an unseen realm

know that anyone can walk the pathways of this realm and call its guardian in whatever term suits one best. God, Goddess, Gaia, feminine spiritualities, Guiding Light, Earth Mother, womens's spiritualities, Higher Power, Guarding Angel, Mentor, a spiritual presence, an sense of inner self, a powerful energy

the names are varied, the spirit remains the same

accept that there is no overriding truth on which path is the best to follow, all may have validity in different stages of our lives.

However my own first starting point for discovering my own Womens Spiritualities was the Conversations With God 1 by Neale Donald Walsh (walsh neale donald)

Imagine me strolling around an airport , getting ready to board a flight when something made me pick up this book, I looked at it in a store and just knew I had to buy it no questions asked.
Sitting on the plane I began to read and here I finally found inspirational words that made sense to an ex-agnostic person like me. No doctrine, the power is within me to change, not in somebody elses hand, it was a true revelation an opener to exploring spiritualities.

Skeptical at first, I was quickly intriqued and could not put this book down. My copy of it is dog-eared because I took it everywhere with me. True wisdom isto be found within these pages.

Imagine some day all you want to do is vent, frustrated, bitter, you pour your heart out into your journal, angry at your god, blaming everybody else. Then suddenly you receive a message,thoughts appear in your mind, origin unknown, but quickly being introduced to you as "Gods voice".

Now the term"God" or as you can tell in my title change to "Conversations with Gods" in this book, is used as a very loose term, a term needed to communicate what is essentially the most difficult thing to ever get across. Feel free to replace with the name of your own "calling spirit" and dont be put off by it as hard hitting questions, from every kind of viewpoint possible, are being answered in this amazing book.

These questions are answered in such a way, that I was able to relate so powerfully, it was almost like a big door had been kicked in, which I had stood in front of for so many years, unable to move it an inch..

I just felt like I had come home, extremely thought-provoking and life-changing at the same time.

If you can,read Conversations With Gods 1 first, as it really sets the scene for spiritual understanding and makes it easy to follow the intuitive logic. You wont be disappointed with the true depth of the questions being asked and the complexity of the answers. It is a good starting point for delving into womens spritualities, as it offers a unique, perspective from a totally unbiased viewpoint. No religon favoured, no spirituality ignored.

This is not a book to read in one sitting, it is pure Soul Food for quite a while. So get comfy, pour yourself a nice hot cup of your favourite drink...and curl up with these inspirational books.

Hey, just be aware that you will definetly miss the in-flight entertainment...
Exploring womens spiritualities will take you on a different journey all together giggle.
